My name is Jordan Brook. Currently, I am a Junior Designer at BAR Architects & Interiors in San Francisco, CA. I am a recent Cal Poly SLO '23 graduate (Go Mustangs!) with a minor in sustainable environments. During my time at Cal Poly, I was able to take part in the Rome program, where I was lucky enough to study abroad in Italy for a semester, as well as the SF Urban program, where I fell in love with San Francisco while completing my original internship at BAR.Prior to joining BAR, I worked from as an intern at Behr Browers Architects in Westlake Village from 2017 to 2021. In addition, I was a graphic design intern for Interface Children and Family Services (ICFS), where I led the digital design for the “Faces of COVID-19” campaign, which focused on highlighting diverse stories of recovery, resilience, and response to the Covid-19 pandemic. These experiences reinforced my passion for architecture and graphic design and my understanding of their powerful impact on people.I thrive when working with fellow designers that share my passion for architecture. I enjoy working on all types of projects, but have a special love for projects that are able to give back to their communities and the world around me. I am grateful for any opportunity to not only give back to the firms and people that have shaped much of my adult life, but to also provide other aspiring designers with the same moments I was fortunate enough to experience growing up.
