My role requires for understanding of clients Trade cycle and/or identifying their requirement and offering solutions and support throughout.Assisting new and existing clients with working capital finance, risk mitigating and risk transfer solutions to include Pre-shipment Finance, Trade Loans, Bonds, Guarantees and Indemnities, Import/Export Letters of Credit, Collections and supply chain finance.

Managing an onshore and offshore operation to ensure delivery within service level agreements for all Trade and Commercial Asset and Liabilities processing activities in the UAE. This includes all product processing for collections, letters of credit, guarantees, working capital products, short and medium term loans, deposits and Invoice discounting. Overseeing the end to end processes and ensuring a high level of service is provided to our clients throughout.To improve our end to end processes by removing waste, reducing cost, increasing productivity and implementing changes without any impact on client experience whilst maintaining our control framework. To implement required changes in line with Central Bank regulations/requirement and ensure our processes are aligned to internal policies with minimal impact to our client servicing delivery.Development of team member skills through cross training, coaching and secondment.Working proactively with clients and stakeholders to identify Trade solutions and understand the clients specific requirements in order to allow us to meet expectations and deliver a best in class service.

From September 2011 I held the role of Trade Director for East Midlands clients, offering Trade and Working Capital solutions to UK SMEs with a turnover of between £5m and £30m. I had worked within the Import/Export Collections department and Import/Export Letters of Credit departments over the past 13 years. I had worked on a number of teams including payments, correspondence, initiate, document workability, Trade Support and reconciliations developing an in depth knowledge across International Trade.At the beginning of 2010 I had been managing the Trade Document Management Team, leading a team of 14 staff processing documents for Import/Export Collections and Letters of Credit to strict SLA's and in line with UCP500/600 and URC522. November 2010 until September 2011 I had been appointed team Leader of the BGI (Bonds, Guarantees and Indemnities) Management Team, responsible for a team of 13 in delivering Guarantees within 72 hours and over seeing the re-engineering of the BGI end to end process and actively supporting the role out of several projects within Trade Services.
