Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Current- Investigate and develop cost-effective electrical systems for new and existing crane products-Address circuit logic, current loads, resistance, amperage and voltage calculations-Serve as Design Project leader and Cross Functional Team Leader when assigned-Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment-Create and modify crane electrical schematics-Interact with suppliers to obtain information and select the appropriate electrical components-Prepare, check and/or revise engineering orders, drawings, and bills of material per design policies-Investigate and design solutions for sales special requests as needed-Investigate field service issues and make recommendations for corrections-Support prototype assembly process as needed-Support manufacturing areas as needed during assembly and testing-Resolve manufacturing issues identified by production engineering, material sourcing, and assemblers-Direct and check the work of others on specific projects or sub-projects
