About Jordan D. Brown

I am a graduate student at New York University pursuing a master’s degree in journalism. I earned my bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism from Morgan State University in 2023. My destiny in life as a journalist is to share stories with the world. I’m passionate about covering local communities as well as race and culture stories. In 2023, I received the Student Journalist of the Year award from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ.) In my years of journalism, I have interned at CNN, The Washington Post, USA Today, Baltimore Sun, and Patch through the Dow Jones News Fund. I garnered interviews with President Joe Biden, Governor Wes Moore, Pete Buttigieg, David Talbert, and I have high hopes for more as I continue my career.
