I am fortunate to have the unique privilege of working for my favorite company in the world. Apple has set itself apart for thinking different and continuously exceeding the world’s expectations for what technology and communication can be. At Apple I work with customers to repair devices and relationships, offering strong recommendations and using powerful triage tools to isolate issues. As a Pro level technician, it is my goal to come along side my colleagues and cultivate an environment of curiosity with open flowing feedback to improve myself and my team.Before going to Apple, I was an indie game developer. I learned how to 3D model, write powerful code in languages; C++, Python, CSS and HTML and deploy my apps to the Steam Store.While I was an indie game developer, I also made use of my degree in Elementary Education, teaching coding courses to middle school and high school ages, substitute teaching in the public school district and volunteering with non-profits focused on teaching students STEM skills. I currently volunteer with AiGoLearning as a marketing specialist.I began learning how to code computer games at the age of 12 with my first Intel 486 computer with Windows 95. I saved up money to build my first computer by collecting aluminum cans for money, mowing lawns and working summers with my uncle doing construction. I learned the basics of text editing code to run command line games, but after upgrading to an early NVIDIA graphics card and newer Celeron processor, I discovered the open source software Blender and began learning 3D modeling. I used my 3D skills and scripting to make mods for games like; Morrowind, Oblivion, Carnivores 2, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights. I was the founder of the prestige Middle-earth Roleplaying Mod for Oblivion, a mod aimed at recreating the entirety of Middle-earth in an open world RPG environment. That mod remains one of the most popular mods on Nexus Mods to this day and was featured in PC Gamer Magazine.I transitioned from modding to game development with Unreal Engine and learned how to code C++ from the GameDev.tv course on Udemy. I designed and developed Battle Siege Royale from start to finish and released it on Steam as my first title. I took a short hiatus from game development to focus my effort on my construction business during the pandemic, but returned to begin working on The Old Forest, a single player RPG.
