Collaborated with faculty and graduate students to collect and process emissions data from client communities to generate a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory, work with designated local government climate action task forces in the developing of climate action plans, and to assist in the drafting of climate action plans. I was a part of the only university in the Commonwealth of Virginia to develop greenhouse gas inventories for municipalities.

As a Policy Research Intern, I will be analyzing local, state and federal solar policy as it relates to developing new solar projects and negotiating with stakeholders.

I conducted fieldwork on Eastern Box Turtles (Terrapene carolina carolina) to analyze the average home range, population sizes by gender, and habitat types by mark-recapture. In addition, I also radio-tracked five turtles out of the 105 notched turtles during the six-week period.
