Jordan served as the Director of Health and Wellness for Williams Lake First Nation. Among many other duties, worked with local and provincial MHO’s/and local Health Authority, to execute and implement all COVID 19 safety plans for Community. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Director of Downtown Williams Lake (Business Improvement Association), where she worked successfully to promote a vibrant business community in the Williams Lake core. Jordan has worked tirelessly to develop community programs, liaise with stakeholders including the City of Williams Lake, the Chamber of Commerce, and many more. Jordan has managed large teams and projects, held many important leadership roles, and has an extensive background in providing health and wellness leadership in a variety of settings, including Nenqayni Wellness Center Society and the Williams Lake Boys and Girls Club. Jordan has supported residential treatment programs, harm reduction education, taught sexual health to high school students, provided advocacy to end human trafficking, and has worked actively with the Ministry of Children and Families, School District 27, Interior Health, the RCMP, and the First Nation Health Authority. Jordan has pursued post-secondary education in Sociology, is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Education, Certified Lactation Educator, and leads private wellness programing for new and expecting mothers, families, students and professionals, through her own business, BabyMoon Childbirth Services.
