I worked as an assistant through the TAPIF program to teach English to French high school students.

I captioned in real time by speaking into voice recognition software. The company provides captions to many local news stations as well as some national channels.

I answered the phone to make reservations, called people back, planned big parties, seated guests, managed server station, and did various office and secretarial work such as dictation, typing, copying, and faxing.

I served food, cleaned,provided customer service (answered questions, served, helped with problems), stocked, womanned the cash register. I had to be very responsible for myself since I was often outside alone and thus had to resolve my own problems.

I updated the donor records, managed the orchestra's Twitter, helped in donor proposal letters and fundraiser language, managed "thank you" letter mailing, and did normal office stuff like copying and getting others food or coffee.
