My variety of experiences has had a major impact on me. My love of leadership showcased itself in middle school while taking leadership classes. I also continued my love of leadership and guiding lower-classmen during high school. Acceptance into my high school's Link Crew solidified my desire to help others and instill confidence in their abilities. During high school, I also became active in nonprofit work and co-created a toy drive fundraiser for the Loma Linda Children's Hospital, where I delivered over 200 toys to the unit right before Christmas.
