I specialize in environmental policy work and reducing CO2 through nature-based solutions. My academic background is in the areas of sustainability and environmental science, with graduate degrees in SustainableResource Management (MSc) and Integrated Science and Technology (MSc). Currently, I serve as Managing Director, Latin America at Modern West, where I am leading carbon market projects south of the US border. I am also the Founder of Treebridge, which focuses on carbon offset project development and sustainability services, and I am also conducting novel carbon sequestration research part-time for the IMARCS Foundation.Long ago I was a dual-sport athlete (football and basketball) at the University of Calgary and played quarterback in the German Football League and Brazil Football Association, as well as guard/forward in the Malta Basketball Association. I continue to value fitness and athletics as a part of a balanced life, and I try to engage in physical activity while also giving back to the athletic community through volunteering and coaching.
