I have taught the four year old class at Cook's Academy since June of 2015. On average, I have worked with class sizes ranging from 12 children to 30 children. I specialize in a curriculum that accommodates any child's development level. Throughout my career with Cook's Academy, I obtained an additional title of "Executive Lead Preschool Teacher". I was put in charge of the entire preschool wing of the school. It was my job to hold monthly lead teacher meetings, check all class newsletters and calendars, create and organize lead teacher newsletters and calendars for monthly school events, and train any new staff members. I was also in charge of the organization of fundraisers, all school wide parties, holiday parties for the students, as well as the graduation ceremony at the end of the school year.

The lead teacher I was working under was promoted to the preschool classroom to teach the four year olds. I moved with her and continued to assist for the remaining three years of employment.In my final year of employment, I conducted a six month long internship at GREDC. I was given the opportunity to conduct lesson plans and activities for the preschool classroom. I was also invited to sit in on the lead teacher meetings every week and participate in the conversation. Another large portion of my internship revolved around helping to prepare for the annual mid-year gala event the school held to fundraiser money for our school.
