I currently work at the Academies at South Mountain in Phoenix. I currently teach United States History and AP United States History but have previously taught World History at this school. I have been involved in multiple committees (Marks and Grading, Advisory Steering, Social Studies AP Review, Social Studies Curriculum Development) and clubs (Wilderness and Traveling History) on campus. I have worked for the past three years to develop the United States, World History and Government curriculum (with a focus on US) for the entire school district which is comprised of over 20 high schools in the Phoenix area.

During my time at MHS, I served as the Department Chair for Social Studies and was extremely involved in the design of the curriculum for multiple courses. I oversaw a department of 8 staff members, taught World History, AP United States History, AP Government and Government during my time at MHS. I volunteered outside of class time to help with Girls Soccer, Proms, Powder Puff Football Charity events, and multiple clubs and committees on campus.
