I am an adaptive biology major at the University of North Texas, planning to graduate Fall 2024. I consider myself to be very hard-working, attentive, and persistent. I strive to do my best no matter what situation I am put into. I started working for my mother in 2017, where I would help with payroll reconciliation. Even while being the youngest employee, with no previous payroll experience, I managed to do everything that was thrown at me, being careful not to make mistakes. I was tasked with reviewing the client's payroll register against the system their timekeeping was on. This made sure there were no discrepancies, and employee's were getting paid the amount they were supposed to. It felt very rewarding to do this type of work well, even with no previous experience. As time went on, I would work for my mother whenever needed. Doing more and more projects. The most recent being a software implementation project. In May of 2021 I was hired as a hostess by Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa. I did my best to equitably seat each server, and treat every guest with much respect and kindness, even when it wasn't easy. I was many servers' favorite hostess, because I made sure everyone got enough tables during their shifts. Early 2022 I was promoted to working as a server. I was constantly told by guests of how well I was doing, some even filled out the hotel’s survey, and mentioned me by name! I thoroughly enjoy being good at whatever it is I am doing, and strive to do that for every position I obtain!With my biology degree I want to go into law. I am very interested in, and actively looking for internships! I am aspiring to work in medical malpractice law in the future.
