In 2015 I had the pleasure of starting off in distribution centers. I started out as an order puller, then moved to packaging orders and then to checking them. I learned safety by working with different machines and parts, as well as staying level headed in a high stress position. I learned to work at a fast pace, with accuracy. I strived to be self-motivated and flexible as I was always expanding my company knowledge based and department objectives. These skills gave me a foundation that brought me closer to my passion. I started a career with Commercial Insurance Partner and for two and a half amazing years I was empowered and encouraged to spread my wings. I began as a Customer Service Representative where I was able to excel in my communication skills. Making a connection with business owners during the pandemic was rewarding at the end of every day. I elevated myself by expanding my knowledge on risk assessment, and building relationships with clients. I then moved to being a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Producer in 2017 and began quoting and writing policies. I maintained a 76% close ratio over an 18th month period. My joy at Commercial Insurance Partner was helping people find the insurance they desperately need so they can go on with their day and know they are covered!I became very organized with the different tasks at hand and used my time wisely. It helped me to see that being goal driven and showing leadership would help me to grow as a person and an employee. With the pandemic, I learned that people were not having the necessary interaction as before. With that being an important part of everyday life, being patient, kind and an active listener really helped me make those connections.Then I became a Sales Development Representative for Bold Penguin. Thriving by building relationships with insurance agencies and agents. The product offered by Bold Penguin allowed me to provide opportunities for success to our clients.I started a career as an Agency Experience Specialist at Coterie Insurance. The work culture has provided me to do what I love everyday, while living the life I truly deserve which is an inspiring position to be in during my professional career. Knowing from experience when I was with CIP, I am able to relate with the agents and understand their frustration isn’t with me. It has empowered me to grow and adapt in this industry daily. I am so thankful to be be apart of a welcoming work family.
