Hi, my name is Jordan Harris.I am an aspiring television news anchor, with the ultimate goal of one day producing and hosting my very own television show. I not only enjoy being in front of the camera, but I also enjoy learning all there is to know in pre and post-production, behind the camera. Right now I am a Media Studies and Production student at Temple University located in Philadelphia, PA. To reach these goals that I have set for myself, I plan on joining Temple University's many different clubs, internships, Tv shows, and radio stations. Not only will I join temples, many different student-run organizations, and outside internships, but I have started my very own projects as well! At the moment I am in the works of starting my very own PodCast. Produced and edited by me, I will invite a new guest onto the show each week to touch on topics ranging from fashion and self-care to social justice, in short... any and everything! I also have an ongoing YouTube channel. On my channel, I produce, edit, and upload a variety of videos. These videos range from vlogs to story-times, and anything else that is entertaining to my viewers that will also help me to feel a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.In conclusion, one of the most important experiences and lessons in my life thus far was a year-long study abroad program in the United Kingdom. While away I was able to go out into the world alone and with no distractions to learning all that I could about the world of communications and journalism. Studying at the University of Worcester I was able to complete 8 hands-on courses in journalism, social media, production, and more!
