Promoted to Event & Logistic Manager for U.S. and Canadian trade show operations to provide the same turnaround leadership driven in my prior role—as their Facilities Manager and Production Coordinator. I was charged with reducing operating expenses associated with the execution of up to 34 annual trade show events while still maintaining the branding standard needed to advance the brand. The overall ROI the company was looking for was accomplished by addressing many elements of the program. The first was the basic booth design and structure. I researched and selected new vendors for booth development and production to ensure the trade show booth maintained a leading-edge image. The redesign added savings through incorporating lighter materials and more versatility when it came to layout, graphic image changes and additionally lower installation & dismantle labor costs. The second element was to interface both sales and marketing into the development of the events image, message and the event goals.
