Contracted exclusively to Chrysler's Mopar (service parts) division.Personally responsible for the packaging on all engine, transmission, driveline, braking components and select exterior panels including front and rear fascias.Work closely with Tier 1 suppliers in order to develop packaging that will ensure the quality of the part while still being cost effective.Use SAP to manage packaging costs on contract for suppliers and third-party packagers.Generate cost savings by developing and implementing commodity strategies to help standardize packaging and help lower costs. Specific projects include returnable pods for re-manufactured transmissions, brake rotors, alternators, and Mopar branded fascia packaging that helps reduce cost, reduce damage and increase shipping density.Support other departments in Mopar to ensure that parts will flow smoothly through Mopar's entire logistics network. This includes working with third-party packagers.Manage packaging non-conformance tickets and work with suppliers to define corrective actions.

Toured facilities of both Chrysler and select Tier 1 suppliers.Created a presentation comparing 5 proposed styles of alternator packaging aimed at reducing damage during transport. Helped implement a minimum sales quantity on targeted part numbers in order to cut down on warehouse labor costs from stocking and picking of single pieces.Started a project to put Mopar accessories into retail friendly point-of-purchase packaging.

Managed Student Cooks to ensure that the kitchen is running at max efficiency. This includes managing worker breaks, and shifting labor to different areas of the kitchen to accommodate rushes in customers.
