I got the great chance to take over marketing manager for epic group, which includes 2 major clubs (Pearl Lounge & Priory) and also 2 massive pubs (Prohibition & Monkey House). I was only there for a short time due to problems at home which meant I was absent and they were not willing to listen to my problems. While there I was in charge of making the marketing plan for the next 3 months. Working around the needs of 4 very different venues at the same time was a great challenge which I thrived upon. I really enjoyed my time there and would love another chance to prove I am a valuable aspect to this side of the clubs/pubs entertainment.

I moved to aberdeen to take this job on. I was a bar supervisor until 1 month ago where i got asked to be assistant manager and was in charge of around 20 staff each night. During fresher’s i was responsible for running the bar both day and night when manager had other work to do. This was one the busiest bars in aberdeen over fresher’s week as it is student only every night the pub had around 600 people through the door. Other jobs include and opening and closing plus making sure the bar was spotless and everyone was happy.

As a temp your main job was to ensure you had a vast knowledge of all products including future products. Keeping the customers happy while answering all enquires or complaints was a huge job role. From this job i learned how to make customer relations quickly as it was a very busy time for the company.

Achieving GP% and Wage% for our Region was my main role in this job. Monitoring /changing operations to increase revenue and profit had to be done perfect to keep the night alive. Smooth Running of the club night by keeping in close contact with both Club manager and the Octopussy Owner was essential. This was done by having good trustworthy relationships with both. Other duties include designing flyers, event ideas and hiring/training of a pr manager.
