While completing a Ph.D. in Environmental Research Biology I started an e-commerce retail business which took off and is now my full-time.In my E-commerce career I have:- Personally generated over $2.8 million to date in gross sales with an average marketing ACOS of 17.5%- Personally taken 32 products from concept, designing, sourcing, launching, marketing and sales- Sourced with many suppliers from 4 different countriesIn my scientific career I have: - primary authored 6 high-profile scientific publications with 78 scientific citations to date.- Managed and mentored a total of 64 undergraduate researchers in the lab and field.- Completed a Ph.D. and 1.5 years of post-doctoral experience - Spent 5 years as the primary scientific collaborator for the Monroe Mountain working group comprised of multiple government agencies, private landowners, environmental nonprofits, and the general public. Duties included monitoring the recovery of all forests over 200,000 acres after prescribed fire or logging treatments and advising best methods.- Spent 3 years monitoring the effects of forest fire on snowpack accumulation and melting in mountainous areas of the western United States as part of a $20 million NSF (National Science Foundation) grant.I am passionate about environmental research and business and am open to opportunities presented in either field. I am currently an entrepreneur and have the flexibility to pursue whatever I desire. I enjoy discussing ideas in both of these fields and meeting and connecting with new people.
