Attention to detail is a key part of my role as there is no room for mistakes covering all aspects of flooring from sub-floor preparation to the finishing touches. It has been the case on many occasions that I have been trusted to run my own job if I ever needed to, as my work ethic and ability to use my own initiative has been recognised across the company. I know this has been recognised as I have been put forward for apprentice of the year two years in a row and received the award in May of 2013. I have a passion for floor laying and take great pride in the work that I do so this for me was a great achievement. As of August 2013 I qualified as a decorative floor layer at SVQ level 3 holding a CSCS gold card. Show less
