My most recent role within IMC was a trader on the Equity Options desk (2020-present). Prior to EO, I traded NDX and RUT. Each of these roles were focused on trading volatility.

• Alternative Risk Premia: Performed an extensive literature review and evaluated providers of Alternative Risk Premia products to make an allocation recommendation.• Strategic Asset Allocation: Researched and designed several long term, risk based strategic asset allocations to provide stability across inflation and growth regimes. • Risk Dashboard: Built a Tableau dashboard, along with Python and MSSQL backend, to show risk metrics for the strategic asset allocation.

Data Analysis: Analyzed one minute returns for 1 month on over 900+ equities to identify price jumps. Classification: Separated jumps into different types based on future returns and designed a framework to compare market making strategies after a jump has occurred. Model Development: Implemented the jump identification model in a reactive Java framework.

Trading: Analyzed and traded over $20 million in Agency MBS bonds and treasuries for the firm’s Fixed Income strategies. Trade Analysis: Implemented and analyzed portfolio management strategies. (e.g. Roll Yield on commodity contracts.) Portfolio Management: Invested and managed several project fund accounts. Forecasted withdrawals and income from investments and invested in approved securities (treasuries, Agency MBS) while maintaining high liquidity for the account. Monte Carlo Simulation: Simulated a strategy’s profit with added constraints proposed by client. Financial Modeling: Implemented a Risk Parity portfolio to validate existing portfolio management tools.

Acquired by BPV.Bond Analysis: Analyzed hundreds of Agency MBS bonds and provided recommendations to PMs. Software Development: Designed, developed, and maintained several software tools which combined to be over 8,000 lines of code mostly in C# and Powershell.Database Creation: Created a MSSQL database to store Trade and Position files. It allowed the team analyze their trades.

Worked with middle and back office to automate several daily and monthly tasks for Operations.

Software Development: Built a multi-threaded C# database management tool for the team to manage their database.Software Maintenance: Collaborated with the team to maintain and upgrade the current set of applications.

Support MEADS system integration activities leading up to Flight Tests and key system demonstrations. Hands on exposure to MEADS Major End Items (MEIs), participation in regression testing, fault isolation and resolution and problem reporting.

Explained different insurance and financial vehicles to potential customers. Assisted with the process of submitting paperwork to the home office for clearance.
