As the Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator for the New England region it is not only my responsibility to mitigate risk, but also promote a culture with the goal of zero injuries through innovative safety programs. Worked as a Intern in the EHS department for 5 months after graduating college. I performed a variety of assignments on a daily basis that were both on-going and incontinuous. Some of my tasks included developing and presenting New Employee Safety Orientation, Conducting Respirator Fit Testing, Developing Lockout/Tagout procedures for new equipment, Entering Air-Emission info from production lines, Performing tests for our hearing conservation program, Organizing all MSDS on site in Right to Know Stations. Dealt with the Loading, Shipping of hazardous waste and entering the cost of manifest in Mylans waste module. I worked extensively on performing risk assessments and developing solutions with the EHS team to eliminate hazards in the work environment.
