I am also a highly accomplished Mechanical Fitter with experience working on a broad range of projects in the oil & gas, mining resource and construction sectors for leading industry organisations, such as Monadelphous and John Holland.     Selected by Superintendent to transfer to the Ichthys LNG construction Project in the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages, conducting hydrostatic and pneumatic pipe testing on high and low pressure systems across site. Initially engaged on a 3 month contract, I have been continuously extended. Responsibilities include:• Involved in pre-commissioning and testing, site wide (with exception of trains)• Reading and understanding P&IDs and Isometric drawings• Atlas Copco compressors and dryers • BOG compressors – associated testing • Use of high torque hydraulic equipment• Pipes - Blowing, drying of piping • Flange Management level 3 – on critical joints• Hydro pneumatic testing of all systemso eg. Fuel gas, heating medium, process gas, nitrogen, gross air leak helium tests etc. • General maintenance checks on plant to ensure asset integrity • Safety systems – JHA’s, TakeFives, SWIM, Permit to Work system, Lock out, tag outReceived a Certificate of Appreciation – “in recognition of the commitment, support and dedication to a Trouble Free start up” – Right First Time Award. 2016 Received recognition from our superintendent for taking accountability and completing all testing work ahead of schedule, allowing for a smooth transition to live LNG facility. Received numerous ‘on the spot’ JKC awards from supervisors on site, awarded for doing the right thing, being safe displaying good work ethic and showing initiative.

    Due to my extensive knowledge and experience at QAL (where I completed my apprenticeship), I was selected to join the crew to undertake maintenance and overhauls of the bauxite mills and heater deck. Responsible for: • Analysing maintenance processes and identifying improvements:o Writing work procedures, which saved significant timeo Consulted with stakeholders, crews and contractors • Maintenance – preventative, repair and breakdown response, including:o Oil pressure pump overhaul and maintenance o Mill liner replacement, mill rod and ball rechange and bolt tensioningo Overhauling heaters and evaporators• High torque multi stud tightening / bolt tensioning• Pipes - removal and installation • Writing job safety analyses (JHA’s) for whole crewI drew on my extensive site knowledge to implement and write many procedural improvements, which resulted in saving 50% of time on maintenance procedures, which helped the reputation of Monadelphous who had replaced the previous contractor.

    Whilst working for Monadelphous on this shutdown project, we refurbished two homogenizers which entailed stripping redundant materials, installing new insulation, replacing worn stainless plates, exhaust fan overhaul as well as leveling and aligning mechanical equipment. I gained experience and skills through the following responsibilities: • Managed, training and leading a crew of approx. 30Delegating work, ensuring timely completion, positive work environment and high standards• Wrote and signed off on work permits - Ensured safety and compliance of all work and crew• Planning and scheduling work – including designing insulation installation process• Completed handovers and training Offered the role of Leading Hand within two weeks of starting on the project, after showing my dedication, work ethic and knowledge of the process involved (which I had learnt about and read up about in my own time). I managed and motivated crew of approximately 30, to complete work to scheduleSuccessfully completed overhauls of two old homogenizers, saving time and money through more effective planning. The insulation came in standard lengths, and I designed a “mud map” to cut it and complete the replacement with minimal waste. The result was the second homogenizer was completed in half the time.

I was awarded Apprentice of the Year (2014) I was also a Member of the First Response team, where I was awarded a belt buckle for my support within the team
