Jordan grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Rice University where she majored in Political Science and Art History with a minor in Business. After graduation, she interned at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and subsequently worked as the Office Manager for a healthy and environmentally conscious home goods store. During this time, she began to develop a true passion around the effects of the built environment and as a result made the decision to enter the real estate industry. Beginning this career path as the controller for Corinthian Real Estate, a commercial real estate investment and property management company based in Houston, Jordan spent 5 years managing property financials and budgets for over 40 properties. Eventually working her way up to VP, she assisted Corinthian with over 25 real estate transactions (acquisitions & dispositions), prepared due diligence information, compiled market research and ran many of the day-to-day property operations. Her favorite projects were the value-add investments because her team worked to transform Class C buildings into great spaces which created value for the investors and the surrounding community. She internalized the real-life impact real estate development could create and set forth to pursue her Master’s in Real Estate Development and Design (MRED+D) at the University of California Berkeley. She chose Berkeley for its exceptional reputation and uniquely curated program, which, in addition to traditional real estate courses, included topics in sustainability and design. Jordan is currently seeking roles in real estate development where she can utilize her analytical skills and strategic problem-solving abilities to develop projects that make tangible and positive impacts for investors and communities alike.
