Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all patient relation and engagement activities.Establish collaborative and productive working relationships with a wide range of patient service organizations.Work with team to identify, review, and implement appropriate outreach strategies to promote DKMS to blood cancer and disease patients across the US.Facilitate and develop both short and long term strategies and plans to promote patient engagement activities.

Actively engage the community around DKMS’ mission through the recruitment of potential bone marrow donors, awareness building, PR efforts and fundraising to achieve goals Manage key partnerships with organizations, other non-profits, companies and/or individuals Attend and take an active role in conferences and community meetings to present DKMS, build relations Work closely with patients, their family and friends, community groups, corporations & others throughout the donor recruitment drive planning and event by providing training, information, guidance and motivation Constantly educate and motivate new potential bone marrow and stem cell donors to ensure their availability and willingness to donate Contact and maintain relationships with the local media for media coverage for drives and events Serve as DKMS spokesperson in order to raise awareness and represent the company’s missionDevelop and implement a fundraising plan to achieve the designated goals and integrate fundraising in every facet of DKMS Acquire and develop a strong fundraising portfolio together with other members of DKMS staff, stakeholders and relevant contacts, including corporate/foundation sponsors and individual donors Lead project based teams to enhance recruitment efforts and prepare for achieving local and national goals

Foster and grow a volunteer board of directors and other community and business leaders to identify, recruit, train, guide, and inspire them to become involved in youth programs.Develop and manage a team of executives to help grow and maintain membership.Secure adequate financial support for programs. Achieve net income and participation objectives for assigned events and activities.Recruit leadership for finance campaign efforts to meet the financial needs of the organization.

Achieve progress towards specific goals and objectives which include: program development through collaborative relationships, volunteer recruitment and training, fundraising, membership recruitment and retention.Responsible for expanding the number of specific career focused programs sponsored by businesses, educational organizations, government agencies, and community-based organizations through volunteers.Ensure that all program sites are served through volunteers, regular meetings, training events and activities.Ensure that school relationships and participating program's needs, including recruiting, training, program delivery and evaluation, and on time program renewals, are met.
