About Jordan Sharp
After several years working in the media industry as a journalist, producer and anchor, I shifted focus somewhat during grad school and started working primarily for online outlets instead of legacy/traditional media outlets. Daily fantasy sports (DFS) was blossoming at the time and after learning and playing DFS I was hired to write analytical NBA articles (for free) for numberFire. After a few years of working as a player news contributor and analytics assistant on the weekends, I was hired full time for FanDuel as a Data Analyst in 2018. Since then I have expanded my technical skills to include SQL and Tableau and currently help our Risk and Trading team accurately price player markets as well as focus on overall price accuracy of our projections and prop markets.
