About Jordan Silver

Jordan Silver is an architect (NSW ARB No. 11976) based on Gadigal country in Sydney. Jordan has been awarded the 2022 Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship for his project titled ‘Rest Stops and Viewpoints: A case for Small Public Architecture in Regional NSW’. In his associate role at Andrew Burns Architecture, Jordan has led several high-profile regional tourism projects including the Light to Light Walk, the first hut-to-hut walking facility for NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS).Alongside his architecture practice, Jordan has held a regular guest spot on ABC radio (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) radio and has written for the ABC on a range of issues. He has also held teaching roles at USYD, UTS and UNSW. In 2020, Jordan created ‘Towards Small Things’, an online platform for small public architecture including research, articles, interviews and a catalogue of inspiring examples from around the world (www.towardssmallthings.com).
