I worked primarily within the technology directorate apart of group delivery; a multi-skilled team that are deployed onto internal projects where required. My duties included:· Working as the lead BA for digital & non-digital projects with varied budgets.Responsibilities carried out whilst being a BA:· Carrying out user research on the efficiency and/or behaviours associated with a product or process· Research and procurement into commercial software vendors to enable their use within the Public sector, ensuring government standards and compliance measures are met· User story creation for system/process development· Using UX principles and working with visual designers to align system interaction with efficient function· Stakeholder management· Backlog management; Managing the library of requirements and documents needed in order to achieve success· Requirements & Functionality elicitation· Process Mapping; Visio Software was the primary software used in conjunction with BPMN2.0 and UML· Support desk management· Prototyping· Ad-hoc tasks

•Work as part of an agile team, responsible for building web, mobile and desktop products to serve a variety of user needs using both front-end web development languages and back-end technologies.•Implement REST APIs for internal and external use, using open data standards and open service principles to ensure applications are built using loosely coupled services•Building a robust suite of automated test scripts to support a Continuous Development environment.•Deliver prototyping, proof of concept and agile alpha phases not specifically associated with the prime digital services of the SFA.•Through involvement in the wider web development community, identify good practices that can be adopted and shared across the development team.•Ensure knowledge of tools and techniques is shared with the wider team, both developers and non-developers.•Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support for the effective operation of applications and platforms.•Support sprint demos and iteration show and tells.•Liaise with solution designers to ensure that all development outcomes either adhere to or inform project intentional architecture and intentional design.
