My day to day tasks are to ensure that the public that come in to the bar are at ease and dealt with with exceptionally, so that they are happy. Being supervisor I have to delegate roles to my staff and ensure that the bar is a clean and safe environment to be in. I also ensure that like the public my staff are happy because I believe that a happy work environment makes every day easier for everyone. I also have to deal with the cashing up of the tills on a day to day basis and ensure that at the end of the night the bar is locked up. I believe that this job has helped me a lot as I have dealt how to cope under immense pressure and also how to be a more confident person being able to approach customers and having the ability to defuse heated situations when and if they arise.
