I am a fun and lighthearted individual who enjoys working as a member of a cohesive team. I have had a wide range of work experience, with the majority relating to customer service and the disaster restoration (DR) industry.After working in the DR industry for the past 8 years, I began to feel the need for a greater return of investment on my time and labor. After careful research and contemplation I decided that a career in web development was the path I wanted to pursue. I am a creative and inquisitive person by nature. As a result, I have taught myself many new and interesting hobbies including knitting, crocheting, and quilting. These personality traits have become invaluable when it comes to learning to code. I truly enjoy learning new languages, frameworks, libraries, and technologies. In addition to being creative and inquisitive, I am also self-motivated, hard-working, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and perceptive to the needs of those around me. While I am assertive in obtaining my goals, I also make sure that I am helping my peers achieve theirs as well.
