I am a graduate of Averett University, graduating with my Bachelor of Science. I enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University's Master of Science: Accounting program in September of 2015. I have taken a minimum of one course per term throughout my tenure there as I have needed to balance continuing my education with working full time. I transferred from Southern New Hampshire University to NorthCentral University to complete my Master of Science: Accounting degree after taking some time away from my education, and again to Western Governers University to finish out my degree.I joined Community Tax, LLC in October of 2016, and have had many opportunities to continue learning the industry and moving up the career ladder within the company itself. Most recently, I was the coordinator of Investigations & Strategy for Community Tax, LLC. My daily responsibilities included people management, SOP development, KPI development and management, team building, interdisciplinary communication, resource allocation and project management. The majority of my experience prior to moving to Chicago and joining Community Tax, LLC and Consumer Law Group comes from my background in farming and riding instruction. Although many may not see either of these as sales experience, there is a lot of selling that happens regularly. Not only have I bought and sold horses and cows, but I also help others make purchase decisions. I also have experience in selling tack and equipment. Other skills that I have developed include, but are not limited to, customer interaction (interpersonal skills), conflict resolution, team and program development. I have experience collecting, organizing, presenting, and analyzing data. I also have experience in defining KPI's and organizing methodical approaches to help the team reach said KPI's. In addition, I have experience working with development teams to create and improve CRM functionality and User Interface, which is where the majority of my project management experience stems. I have dealt with children and adults alike, as well as animals two-three times my size. These experiences have allowed me to develop an ability to read cues given by the animal or person whom I am working/speaking with and to adjust my way of communication.
