I am an actor, teacher, and hospitality professional based out of Brooklyn, New York. My experience in these fields has instilled in me the ability to multi-task with a calm and focused energy and to approach all my endeavors with a sense of serious play. I enjoy collaboration and working with a team (having played ice hockey for many years and working as an actor, I'm invigorated by the experience of working together towards a common goal), but I also know how to take the lead and be self-sufficient, driven, and motivated to accomplish tasks on my own. As an educator, I have served as an adjunct faculty member at The University of South Florida, where I devised a course which focused on the cultural, societal, historical, and practical applications ofTheatre. I have toured educational Shakespeare workshops and productions all over New England and Florida, engaging with students at the middle school, high school, and college levels, serving as a liaison between the visiting schools and the educational departments I was representing. I take pride in my ability to engage students with my passion and knowledge in the fields of Drama (both performance and academic) and Literature, empowering students to succeed by tailoring my approach to the individual and encouraging them to embrace the unique traits that make them who they are. I currently work as a wine consultant and server at The Little Owl in The West Village. As a hospitality professional, I pride myself in exceeding customer expectations by listening fully to what the individual guest needs and responding with compassion, patience, and effectiveness, doing everything within my power to provide a special experience for each customer. I hold an M.F.A in Acting from The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training at The Asolo Repertory Theatre, and a B.A. in English with a Theatre Minor from Boston University. I grew up in San Diego, California and for fun, I enjoy skiing, ice hockey, and drumming.
