Receive invoices and make sure the information is entered correctly so everything will be ready to bill.

Accounts Payable Clerk. Responsibilities include data entry, scanning, and record keeping as required by the job. Input of invoices into payment system in a timely manner as agreed upon with vendors (Net10, Net30, etc) to keep accounts current and in good standing as well as take advantage of offered discounts. Keep up with COI, W-9s, I-9s for employees and companies as required. Review, enter, and issue payment for corporate and employee expense accounts. Answer inquiries by phone or email from inside and outside contacts in a timely manner. Problem-solve as required by the job in order to protect the company’s interests and fulfill contractual agreements with vendors and other outside resources. Use Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and basic Excel as required for the job. Use the Internet (minimally) in order to verify company contacts. Use basic calculator as required for the job to do basic math as well as figure discounts, refunds, and credits. Perform duties and functions of receptionist as needed/upon request which requires answering and directing phone calls and/or messages to the appropriate people or departments.

Responsibilities include those previously listed and also include primary trainer for new staff (trainer position required extensive course-work in all areas of the company as needed for training all new employees), closing the store so everything is ready for the next day at opening, prep food for upcoming shifts, answer phones when management is busy, assist managers with money handling procedures at the close of the shift, balance cashier drawers, and record sales.
