As a Manager of Threat Hunting and Counterintelligence at the Department of Defense (DoD), specifically the United States Marine Corps, I lead a team of cybersecurity and counterintelligence professionals who proactively detect, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats and espionage activities against the DoD and its programs. With over 13 years of experience in the intelligence and security fields and 10 years of experience as a technical surveillance countermeasures practitioner, I have successfully managed multiple operations and projects that enhanced the DoD's situational awareness, operational readiness, and strategic advantage. Some of my achievements include developing and implementing a threat hunting framework, conducting technical counterintelligence assessments, and assessing compliance with national cybersecurity frameworks. I have also conducted diplomacy operations on three continents, sharing the country's vision with both partners and allies. I have represented the US in multiple events around the world. I am highly familiar with NIST protection frameworks and FedRAMP. I have been a formal instructor and trainer, helping young Americans become United States Marines, and have taught a myriad of courses to students around the globe. I am searching for a leadership role within the cybersecurity industry to help an organization improve its security posture and mentor future cybersecurity leaders.
