As an advanced diploma Sport Management graduate from Humber College with a hard working “go getter” personality, my goals are to work in program and event management bringing an endless supply of positivity, enthusiasm, and energy working in the Sport and Recreation industry.Supervising the facility staff and leading operations at my current position as a Facility Supervisor at Field Recreation Inc is allowing me to expand my leadership skills and effectively make decisions with full confidence. As a result of the skills I developed being an honour roll student in the Humber College Sport Management program, I interned at Ontario Soccer, responsible for all Academies apart of the Ontario Academy Soccer League (OASL). A secondary internship took place at North Mississauga Soccer Club responsible for all Club Operations, involving organization and inventory of needed equipment and uniforms for the Fall indoor season as well as providing excellent customer service over the phone and through email, assisting with player registration and many other inquiries. As well, I have 5 years of overnight camp experience where I was the High Ropes Program Facilitator, Sports and Games Program Facilitator, and a counsellor. As a program facilitator for both high ropes and sports and games, I gained valuable experience in leading and mentoring youth to push themselves physically and how to work together with one another through teamwork dynamics. With these background skills, experience, and passion, I am motivated to use my skills in obtaining a career in sport and recreation management. Personal improvements I have achieved over the years is the ability to learn things quicker and to effectively make decisions on the spot during pressuring situations and being confident with the decisions I make, standing my ground.
