My job role includes:- Writing weekly rotas for staffing at both sites, ensuring there are no crossovers and that there are enough staff per shift. - The ordering of all bar stock for both the hotel and the pub, including wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks.- Taking orders from customers, and then subsequently serving. - Filing invoices to be paid.- Answering customer enquiries regarding restaurant and hotel bookings.- Checking hotel guests into their rooms.- The interviewing and hiring of new staff.- Cellar management- Serving drinks to customers and maintaining customer relations.

When not in Manchester at University, I work as a Bartender and Keyholder at The Phoenix Tavern and Faversham Creek Hotel. My duties include serving customers, taking bookings, the receiving and booking in of deliveries, and the setting up and running of external functions.

Whilst at University in Manchester, I work at the Bank Pub, which is part of the Nicholsons brand, one of the brands which is run by Mitchells & Butlers. My roles include serving customers, receiving and booking in stock, and keeping up to date with product knowledge and training using in-house e-learning.

Whilst working at Fenwick, I had many roles, chief amongst which was customer service. I had extensive training within the company in order to promote and sell the luxury products which we stocked. I was also tasked with the ordering, receiving and booking in of stock. During my time at Fenwick, I was the brand specialist for Ralph Lauren and then Hugo Boss. As a result of which, I was sent on numerous training courses in London within those brands, which involved training in Visual Merchandising, product knowledge and brand awareness.
