May 2021- November 2021Took over the demand response team powering the RouteMatch product. Leading a team of 6 engineers. April 2021- November 2021Took over an additional product that was the main scheduling engine for the RouteMatch product line. Grew that team from 1 engineer to 5 engineers. Oct 2020-June 2021Established a new team of 4 to work on Transit SaaS prescheduled product line.

Worked in a team environment, supporting the main demand response application in our business. In this environment I have achieved the following:• Worked as a team to rewrite key module of legacy application from Visual Basic to C#• Wrote a multi-threaded piece of the application for data visualization that graphically represents a scheduling assistant for the trips that are to be taken several days in advance• Chosen to help lead a transition from a monolithic application into a microservice architecture• Helped guide and shape transition from a Waterfall methodology to an Agile methodology, implementing sprint plannings, review meetings, and providing guidance to being able to have a deliverable in a sprint cycle• Learned and started writing microservices using Node.js, MongoDB, and Express, as well as accessing legacy database to pull in data for microservices such as Vehicle Location, Manifest, and Runs• Worked with several Node libraries including bluebird, swagger documentation, knex, gulp, chai, sinon, and errors• Using GoCD implemented Continous Integration (CI) onto an in-house test server• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) into all microservices using chai, sinon, and mocha, creating unit tests that run through all lines of code, covering edge situations, work to define errors, and make sure it returns what is expected• Used GitHub, GitLab, TortoiseSVN for Source Control• Created Swagger Documentation for various microservices, and incorporated it into the base middleware

Worked in a team environment supporting the dispatching, integration, and optimization teams in our business. In this environment, I achieved the following :• Developing Oversight or involvement in several major investment projects• Added many product improvements as well as future revenue sources into our software, while developing in a three tier architecture, to support future improvements.• Provided on site support during upgrades and testing of customer systems in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, and Chicago, IL• During the upgrades, was able to provide fixes for different product owners on the fly, and triage issues that arose from the upgrade process• Maintenance and Modifications providing software improvements of different parts of the controlling software• Versed in SCRUM methodology. Took a SCRUM Essentials training in March 2015, taking away a firm understanding about agile methodology and more specifically SCRUM methodology.• Triaged Issues for our Kan Ban team as well as implemented different fixes for those issues.• Helped three new employees hired since June 2014 train and become comfortable with the development environment and the software.
