I presently work at Dalhousie University as an electronics technologist in the electrical and computer engineering department where I maintain the labs and design spaces for the students. I source and evaluate materials and carry out purchasing for lab kits and any materials needed for 2nd and 3rd year design courses as well assist the professors in the planning and development for them.I am frequently required to design and create supplementary components for these design courses involving circuit board design and assembly, cross platform application software development and microcontroller programming, 3d modeling and printing.I am the administrator and maintainer for the VLSI lab and facilitate all infrastructure for two undergraduate linux networking related labs. I manage all software and licenses on lab computers and maintain the department website content. I provide support and advisement in the safe operation of lab equipment for students and teaching staff. I have filmed and edited video content for lab safety and equipment.
