East Hub

Responsible for supporting, leading and managing a team of Outreach Workers to effectively engage with participants in a dynamic and progressive personal development programme. Planning and aligning staff deployment in accordance with programme need, assessing and implementing solutions to fulfil programme and contractual obligations. Taking the lead on liaising with referral partners, undertaking initial programme eligibility checks and assigning new referrals to the Outreach Worker Team. Planning and overseeing a range of personal development provision in communities, one-to-one sessions and group work, ensuring that the greatest impact can be achieved for our clients. Regular caseload management assessments to ensure completeness of client paperwork and associated systems. Providing regular Support & Supervision to the Outreach Worker Team. Working as part of the Hub Management Team to develop appropriate referral strategies and progression opportunities, developing and nurturing key relationships within local communities, and delivering presentations to new and existing partners. Along with the responsibility for supporting the delivery of SQA qualifications as an Assessor.

Delivering high quality participant support across the range of Venture Trust programmes, to engage participants in a dynamic and progressive community and wilderness-based personal development opportunity. Undertaking the initial assessment of potential participants for our programmes, preparing and supporting them to undertake their wilderness journey & working closely with the wilderness journey staff. Upon return to their community, continuing to work closely with participants to develop and maintain community links, supporting them into sustained positive destinations, including education, training, volunteering or employment. Generating new referrals and helping to promote the programmes with stakeholders, providing progress updates for referring partners & agents, and developing and maintaining effective relationships.

Providing a range of services to Young Carers in Fife, including one to one support, advice and information. Planning, organising and running regular support groups covering a range of topics from issue based sessions, drama therapy workshops, solution focused sessions and time out along with also arranging fun holiday activities and residentials. Liaising closely with the families of Young Carers to provide advice, information and support as appropriate. Working closely with schools and with partner agencies to help meet the needs of the individual Young Carers. Contributing to the recruitment, training, support and supervision of sessional workers and volunteers.

Working with Young Carers in the Fife area to provide them with appropriate support, advice and information to meet their individual needs. Planning for weekly groups by responding to the needs and interests of the young people.
