About Jordan A. Kauffman
Jordan Kauffman received his B.A. in art with an emphasis in graphic design from Goshen College in 2011 and his Masters of Fine Arts in visual communication design from Kent State University in 2017. Kauffman’s research focuses on the intersection of social innovation design, entrepreneurship, and project evaluation. He believes that design has an important role to play in developing human-centered and sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most pressing social problems. Along with his research interests, Kauffman is passionate about education and working with students to learn new things and grow their skill sets. He believes there is no greater feeling then the moment when you learn something new or have finally perfected a new skill. In addition to his work in the department of Art, Art History, and Design, Kauffman is a partner at Lightbox Collective, a design collective in downtown Goshen, Indiana, where he works with a variety of clients in the nonprofit, for-profit, and social innovation sectors.
