Hiiiiiiiiiii! 👋🏼Some facts about me are...🥳I am passionate about advocating for others🐛I am obsessed with growing my skill-set 🦋🏃🏻‍♀️I love a good physical, mental, personal, and professional challenge 📊 Data drives everything! My past experiences have been diverse, and each have helped me discover new passions and goals of mine, as well as the following soft skills:✨flexibility — I love change, growth, a challenge, and am extremely flexible. This year I have taught in 3 new roles -- as a special education science, history, and math teacher. 🗣communication and relationship building — I regularly connect, empathize with, and understand the needs and wants of diverse groups in order to better serve them. 📊 Data analysis — I love collecting and analyzing data to make informed data driven decisions in my classroom. I have collected behavioral, attendance, and assessment data. I use this data to answer measurable questions in order to adjust my lessons and instructional approach. 📝prioritizing tasks and project management — I am a calendar and checklist type of person. Organizing, documenting, and completing simultaneous tasks before deadlines is a skill of mine! 💡troubleshooting — I do the student math problems before I teach it to anticipate problem areas and hard to conceptualize ideas. I am a visual learner so I create anchor charts, reference sheets, step-by-step directions using pictures, PowerPoints, and gifs to explain content and make abstract concepts more hands-on. 🌱self-reflection — I actively seek out and embrace learning opportunities with instructional strategists, colleagues, and admin. I am always looking for a challenge as a special education teacher/consultant.
