- Family ranches -The co-op is 100% owned by family ranches. Our ranchers retain ownership of their animals from birth to the retail shelf. We do purchase cattle outside of our ranches to meet the demand for our beef. Each ranch that we buy from is audited and held to the same standards as our member ranches. - Naturally raised -The beef we produce never ever receives antibiotics or added growth hormones. The cattle are fed a strictly vegetarian diet. - Thriving communities -Nearly all of the ranchers in the co-op live in small, rural communities that depend on local agriculture. The co-op was founded for the purpose of providing customers with a healthy and wholesome product for their families at a price that supports sustainable ranching. - Land stewardship -We take our responsibility over the lands we manage very seriously. Our GrazeWell standards keep us on a path to a healthy environment and a sustainable future of cattle ranching for generations to come.- Quality and Consistency -We believe the key to the quality of our beef is providing a healthy, stress-free living environment, access to good feed, and a consistent finishing diet. The cattle do receive a finishing grain ration to bring the consistent year round taste and quality that our customers love. - Customer Focused -Each rancher spends at least two days per year in retail stores to get to know people who purchase our beef. We take our role of producing your food seriously. - Animal Welfare -All ranchers are audited to animal compassion standards created by Global Animal Partnership. These standards focus on maintaining low stress humane animal handling practices throughout the life cycle of the cattle.
