• Critically assessed locally- and government-produced data and documentation for Superfund and brownfields sites in and around Louisville to provide up-to-date, accurate, and easily-accessible information to researchers, community members, government officials, and other stakeholders• Planned and led meetings and informational events for the University of Louisville Superfund Research Center Community Engagement Core’s advisory boards, Louisville community members, and other interested parties• Presented Core's work at both internal and national-level Superfund meetings• Created fact sheets and other informational pieces reflecting the community’s environmental concerns• Developed several webpages related to the Lee's Lane Landfill site as a service to agencies, stakeholders, and decision makers who serve the communities impacted by the environmental contamination of the site

· Conducted graduate research focused on environmental cardiology, specifically relating personal, occupational, and environmental pollutant exposure with markers of vascular injury· Organized the written, oral, and visual communication of research findings for project collaborators and for publication· Assisted in sample collection and data analysis of exposure studies in murine models and in a human cohort· Helped maintain questionnaire response and sample databases for a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed human research study · Investigated vascular and immune system toxicity of murine models after air pollutant exposures using complete blood counts and flow cytometric analysis

· Logged, organized, and maintained a variety of biological samples and other evidence· Prepared and maintained case files· Performed drug screens and other blood tests, including carbon monoxide tests and cyanide screens· Entered test results into electronic database for later evaluation by professional head of laboratory· Observed a handful of forensic autopsies under the St. Louis County Medical Examiner, Dr. Mary Case
