I have been involved with The Reach Foundation for the last six years. My skills and commitment were recognised in 2014 when I was offered a position as a Facilitator in training. However, my position at Reach has also allowed me to work closely with the Branding and Communications team on their national Hopes and Dreams report.Achievements:Designing qualitative data collection tools for focus groups.Facilitating focus groups for qualitative research used for The Reach Foundation’s national survey.Facilitating workshops that challenge participants to reflect on their current situation and empowers them to pursue the actions required to achieve their potential.Designing and planning workshop content that is effective, relevant and engaging.Liaising with various stakeholders, including school communities.

The Reach Foundation, in partnership with Reality Check, have undertaken a research project with young people across Australia to better understand their hopes and dreams for the future. The research report is the first of its kind in Australia and provides a voice for young Australians.Achievements:- Liaison between schools, research company, Reality Check, and the Reach Foundation - Facilitation of small group discussions within focus groups- Organisation of time, date, and location of focus groups- Redesign of qualitative data collection tools- Reviewing the subsequent national survey before launch

Achievements:Sourcing, producing and reporting on WhyDev’s daily online communications.Creating WhyDev’s weekly newsletter using MailChimp. Expanding WhyDev’s Facebook and Twitter communities by implementing the content marketing strategy.Expanding WhyDev’s social media communities by designing and implementing the content marketing strategy for Instagram and Snapchat.Supporting the transition of WhyDev’s brand from a development-focused blog to a not-for-profit organisation by participating in strategic partner meetings.

During my internship with Kiroyan Partners, I was given the opportunity to analyse their marketing and promotion strategies. I subsequently developed a marketing and promotion strategy for Kiroyan Partners based on an analysis of internal and external issues. However, the most fulfilling and enjoyable aspect of my time at Kiroyan Partners was when I was given the chance to present the strategy to Kiroyan Partners’ founder, principal consultant as well as the senior consultant team.Monitoring Indonesian media outlets, including digital and printed media as well as social media, and providing two media monitoring reports to management consultants daily.Attending organisational project review meetings.Conducting online research and analysis of clients’ key stakeholder for the management consultant team.Editing and translating draft project documents for clients.

I interned for six weeks at Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust (HACT) as part of Monash's South Africa Student Placement Program. HACT is a multifaceted organisation that provides holistic care to all in the local community who are impacted by HIV/AIDS.Achievements:- Conducted interviews with department managers, including the CEO- Analysed qualitative data- Wrote and published research report on identified issues for the organisation- Developed participatory monitoring and evaluation tools- Collated and edited department reports for quarterly report- Heavily involved in the communications department, including media releases, social media and in the field interviews

The Student Forum Institute works with young people in order to improve their political, civil and economic participation within the West Bank.Achievements:-Researching community development tools, specifically participatory evaluation-Grant and proposal writing-Planning and conducting English lessons for higher education students-Forming professional international networks
