In 2017 I started my own limited company, to work on projects I truly beleived in. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿Development of concept designs from basic CAD models to functional high-fidelity prototypes. Design for injection molding, including tooling analysis, material selection and FAI. CMF development and selection in line with brand and product families. Designing and executing test methods to validate designs. Managing manufacture of initial batches working with OEM’s in China. 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗼-𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀Concept development based on customer requirements and stringent standards. Development of designs using functional prototypes to demonstrate TRL. Working in line with ISO13485 standard. Management of IFU including design, illustration, review & sign-off. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆Creation of brand values along with business leaders in the start up space. Visual identity design based on clear brand values. Delivery of brand assets, corporate design manuals and merchandise. Working in a senior position in a fast-paced consultancy I led small design teams on various projects, I managed projects, manufacturing and user research on behalf of clients and stakeholders, managing their expectations in the ambiguous R&D space. 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀I worked on a variety of projects in a support capacity across disciplines such as fire, consumer, 3D branding & strategy. I regularly used hands on prototyping skills including 3D printing (resin, SLS & FDM), CNC machining & modelmaking.

In my role as Design Engineer I designed and developed complex optical products as part of a small team. I had extensive exposure to a high-precision manufacturing environment and developed my skills in Mechanical Engineering. Creation of prototype products & components using 3D printing, casting and machining. Design of new opto-mechanical products in line with customer requirements. Developing clear specifications and requirements for new customers.

I worked as part of a small innovation team to deliver a new product range. I supported the team through the product lifecycle, developing and testing mechanical designs to prove function and product feel.𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀Exposure to a large corporate organization producing consumer and industrial products on a mass scale.Gained further knowledge of a fast moving manufacturing environment, learning about manufacturing automation and assembly techniques.
