👋 I'm a bilingual sustainability strategist with an ecological design & communications background. In my role as TBG Partners' Sustainability Lead, I am overseeing the development & implementation of our Sustainability Action Plan. What this looks like right now:+ Developing & tracking sustainable performance indicators for landscape design and planning+ Identifying & addressing sustainable design literacy gaps (internal education)+ Leading & growing a firm-wide sustainability leadership team + Evolving internal tools that support sustainable design decisions+ Leading firm-wide pilot of high-level landscape carbon accounting~~~Some more about me:♻️ I try to take a systems thinking approach to every problem, and to ask questions first and often. (We all have blind spots; these are two ways I attempt to seek mine out.)🌇 I am committed to helping cities become more just, resilient, and delightful for all people. I thrive on exploring small design details, interwoven systems, and the interaction between humans and our environments. 🌱 I believe it's possible to build and maintain places that are at once ecologically restorative, human-friendly, and fun. The work is partly in the design, but it's also in how we communicate, and how participatory the process is.🎙 I co-host and produce a podcast called "We Built It That Way," which explores the sociological impacts of our built environment. We examine what values and assumptions that produced the places we call home, and how those places shape us as humans.
