As part of a small agile team, assisted with the development of web and Android applications using the Java programming language, Spring Framework, PosgreSQL, Eclipse IDE and related technologies.Integrated a standalone web scraper into Intricate Group's web based application. Using Selenium browser automation and the Apache POI API, data is extracted from the web and used to automatically produce excel and .csv reports for use by Intricate employees. This reduced the requirement for manual data collection and report generation significantly.Assisted in meeting Intricate Group's business requirements by completing roughly 180 software tickets of various difficulty and size for the web and Android (tablet) applications - often urgently and deployed to production the same day. Attention to detail, concise code, accurate problem identification, Eclipse based debugging and thorough JUnit testing significantly reduced the need for hot fixes, in-depth code review, or refactoring.
