The PAS program is a behavioral management approach which focuses on applied behavior principles and techniques of social learning theory to help improve social behavior. The goal of the PAS program is to provide participating students with the opportunity to learn and perfect prosocial behaviors. By doing so, students learn to manage their own behaviors and emotions to better equip them to meet their own needs in general environments.

The Positive Attitude for Success Program (PAS) is a structured behavior intervention program for students who meet special education eligibility criteria and have severe emotional and/or behavioral challenges. The curriculum for the program is two-fold with academic skills based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills embedded in the general education curriculum in all areas and with social and behavior management skills directly instructed and integrated within the academic curriculum. The program utilizes small group and individualized instruction. Students are also taught specific social and behavior management skills to ensure success as they are transitioned back into the general education setting. When required, the IEP addresses both academic and behavior skills to be monitored by the special education teacher and the Behavior Resource Specialist.

The mission of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) department in the Lewisville ISD is to provide a quality educational program that enables all individuals to achieve their fullest potential in the pursuit of high-skill employment and advanced education. Each student shall be equipped with the technical, academic, human relations, and life-long learning skills necessary to adapt in a changing economy and to compete in the global marketplace.The goal of the LISD Athletics program is to provide athletic experiences that will contribute to the personal, physical, and psychological development of all athletes who choose to participate. These experiences will be consistent with the educational goals of the Lewisville Independent School District and will work in concert with the academic program of the district. The athletic program will become more competitive as the levels increase from eighth grade to the freshman level, to the junior varsity level, and finally, the varsity level.
