As a Resident Assistant (RA), I was in charge of creating safe and healthy homes at Miami. I’ve gained numerous leadership skills while working with residents, other RAs, and my supervisors.

Teaching assistant (TA) for STC 262: Empirical Research Methods

In this role, I represented Miami's Zeta Delta chapter at the sectional, regional and national level. This included arranging travel to conferences and partnering with other Alpha Phi Omega chapters.In February 2019, the Zeta Delta chapter invited all Ohio and Indiana chapters to Oxford, Ohio, for "Brother's Weekend," a conference including over 20.

As VP of Membership, I was in charge of a 92-member pledge class. I led a group of 12 team members who coordinated and guided the new members. My top priorities included ensuring inclusion, growing diversity in the chapter, and creating bonds between members new and old.

As publicity chair, I advertised the organization around campus. From creating flyers, digital ads and more, I was able to recruit new members for the Spring 2018 pledge class.

This 12-week internship consisted of shadowing the Ohio governor's legislative affairs team. From lobbying for the state budget, to sitting in on Ohio House and Senate committee meetings and full session, I was exposed to the full range of the state's executive and legislative branches. I also completed projects for the Office of Lieutenant Governor Jon.

I served as support and assisted staff in planning events for the inauguration of Mike DeWine and Jon Husted for governor and lieutenant governor of Ohio. This involved organizing and fulfilling RSVPs of event guests, and coordinating DeWine family transportation and movements.
