The BCS is a string composing business that I started officially in January of 2008. My love is scoring film and advertisements but writing for bands and contracting musicians for recordings and small ensembles is a speciality of mine as well.

Assisted in the teaching of the following courses: 20th-Century Compositional Techniques (Neely Bruce), Pipe Organ in Theory and Practice, from Sanctuary to Stage (Ronald Ebrecht), Senior Seminar: The Life and Music and Life of Charles Ives (Neely Bruce), Form and Analysis (Roger Grant), and Music Theory: Materials and Designs (Tyshawn Sorey).

Job duties include transferring cassette tapes to digital format, mastering the digital files, creating new digital versions, and finally re-archiving both the originals and new versions. Other past responsibilities include organizing the archive's stock of print media, documenting the instrument archive, and maintaining the sound archive in the library at the California Institute of the Arts.

As an imprint of Marriage Records, I oversaw the day to day activities at Rad Records.
